July Blog Goals

When I started blogging last year, I LOVED it. I enjoyed cooking and crafting and sharing my ideas with everyone.  Then…Christmas rolled around. I crafted so many decorations and was very proud of my Christmas Creations. I had every intention … Continue reading

Oh my goodness gracious!

My last post was on October 3oth…..OCTOBER…..What month is it now? Oh yeah–DECEMBER! It is now DECEMBER 8th! I missed a whole entire month of posting!! You may wonder if something major happened in my life, or maybe if I quit the blog altogether? Well, no and no. I don’t really have an excuse other than the fact that life got in the way–it happens to everyone!

But DON’T WORRY. I haven’t stopped crafting, baking, or cooking at all during this time! If anything, I have been able to complete more projects than before!

Be sure to check out some of my upcoming Christmas craft posts!

Easiest Corn on the Cob-No Prior Shucking Involved!

Let’s Get Started!

Alrighty then–here goes my first blog post! This blog is going to be made up of crafts, recipes, and fun for the modern housewife. The modern housewife doesn’t get to sit home all day and take care of “wifely” duties as they did 50 years ago. The modern housewife has to maintain all of the “wifely” duties PLUS work a full-(or part-time) job.  These crafts and recipes are made to be quick and easy–to simplify life so there’s more time to live! I don’t believe in paying $$$BIG BUCKS$$$ for home décor, so you’ll find my rendition of functional decorating without spending the money. We work hard to earn our money–let’s keep more of it!

I will post all of my crafts/recipes/tips/etc here on the home page. Each of the tabs at the top (labeled accordingly) will have indexes to all of my posts so that you can easily navigate back to a post that you need.

As always, feel free to leave any comments or feedback. I’d also love to hear if you’ve tried any of my crafts/ideas and what you like about them or think could improve them! Send a picture, leave a comment, and let me know what you want to see more (or less) of.  🙂

Let’s see where this takes us!
